What is a deck or patio enclosure?

It's the deck or patio you already have, closed in as a room — screens, glass, or an insulated four-season build. It's the most common project we're asked for, because the hardest and most expensive part of an addition, the floor and the structure under it, is already sitting in your yard.

Can you enclose my existing deck or patio?

Usually, yes. We start with a visit to look at your current deck or patio and its condition, then design an enclosure that works with it. If the base needs work first, we'll tell you honestly.

Three-season room or four-season sunroom?

A three-season room swaps screens for glass, so spring, summer, and fall all work — it's the lighter build and the gentler budget. A four-season sunroom is insulated and heated, a true year-round addition you'll use in January. The honest test is how you picture using it: if the picture has snow in it, build four-season now.

Screens or glass?

Both are options, and many enclosures combine them. Screens keep bugs out and let the breeze in; glass extends the season further. We help you choose based on how you picture using the space.

Can we upgrade it to a four-season sunroom later?

That's the point of the system — it's designed to grow. On many rooms the upgrade from a three-season room to year-round is a window change completed in hours, not a new construction project.

Do I need a building permit?

Yes — enclosing a deck or patio counts as an addition in every town we serve. We draw it, file it, and walk it through your town's reviews as part of the job.
